Where the Wild Things Are: The new age of organizations and audiences

12:00-12:50 Presentation

PONCHO Hall

Is having a quality artistic product enough to sell out the seats in your hall? This workshop explores emerging methods for building an organization, attracting an enthusiastic audience, and elevating engagement in classical & new music in an already over-saturated cultural marketplace. The session is presented by Andrew Goldstein , an international audience strategist at Molina Visuals, contributor to the Huffington Post , and the Executive Director of Seattle's own Emerald City Music. Goldstein will present real-world examples of innovative audience-building efforts from his work co-founding Emerald City Music, as well as from consulting with arts presenters from New York to Lebanon.
